A Little About My Ceramics
I make each piece by hand using stoneware clay. Each piece is fired twice, reaching temperatures of around 2,200°F (1200°C), to create a durable finish.
For my pieces, I use food-safe glazes and underglazes, unless otherwise stated!
Since everything is handmade, small variations in shape, color, texture, and glaze are part of what makes each piece one of a kind.
Functional Pieces
- Cups, mugs, plates, jars, and other functional pieces are made for everyday use and are microwave and dishwasher safe. However, hand washing is recommended to keep the colors and glaze vibrant!
- Avoid sudden temperature changes, such as moving a piece directly from the fridge to the microwave or pouring boiling water into a cold piece.
- Never place ceramics directly on a stovetop or over an open flame.
Decorative Pieces & Accessories
- These pieces are made for display and enjoyment. Dust gently with a soft cloth or soft brush, and take extra care with small or delicate details.
- Ceramic charms are delicate and can chip or break from impact. Please handle them with care, especially when using them with keys or other objects that may bump against them.
